John Joiner serves as Executive Pastor at Heritage Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he helps lead the church in its mission of helping people discover and deepen their relationship with Jesus. His passion is teaching Scripture in a way that is clear and grounded in the life of the church.

John regularly preaches, writes devotionals, and develops discipleship environments that help people grow in their relationship with Christ. Much of his work focuses on helping men live with courage and faith through initiatives like Men of Purpose and outdoor discipleship experiences through Valor Camp.

Along with his ministry at Heritage Church, John writes resources designed to help individuals and churches grow deeper in their faith. His devotionals and teaching often focus on spiritual formation and practical discipleship.

John believes the church is called to form people who know Jesus deeply and live out their faith in everyday life. Through preaching, writing, retreats, and leadership development, his goal is to help people grow into mature followers of Christ who influence their families and communities.

John and his wife Cara live in Mississippi with their two daughters and are active in the life and ministry of Heritage Church.
